Which one do you need

Floor or wall? Six of these stand on the floor or on a chowki. The White and Gold Wall Hanging Mandir mounts to the wall, which is the one to choose when floor space is the constraint rather than budget. Read the mounting answer below before deciding.

How much height? A bajot is a low matching platform that raises the mandir so you are not bending to the floor during aarti. Three models currently offer one as a variant on the product page, and we are extending the option across the range.

Doors or open? Closing doors keep dust off the idols between poojas and let you shut the shrine when the room is used for something else. The Red & White, the White with Brass Bells, and the Ghar Mandir models have them.

Which direction should the mandir face?

Do they arrive assembled?
Yes. Every mandir here ships assembled and ready to place.
Is there a light inside?
No. The interior is open and unlit, which lets you fit an LED pooja light of your choice.
How do I mount the wall-hanging mandir?
Not on nails alone, and not on drywall alone. The method that works is to fix a length of timber into a wall stud first and rest the mandir on that ledge — a plain board from a hardware store is enough. Finding the stud is the important part, so that the weight sits on the timber and the stud rather than on the drywall. Screws and wall anchors are not supplied.
Is the bajot included in the price?
Only where the product page offers it as a variant. Check the option selector, since the base mandir and the mandir with bajot are priced separately.
How much clearance is there for idols?
Interior height varies by model and is listed on each product page. Measure your tallest idol including its base before choosing.
What wood are these made from?
Mango wood and engineered wood depending on the model, stated individually on each listing. The Walnut Brown is solid mango wood, which is why it is the heaviest and the most expensive here.
