A tiered diya stand: three discs stacked on a central rod, each ringed with traditional diya cups so thirty flames sit at three different heights. It stands on a turned pedestal foot and is topped with a finial and ring. At 24 inches it is the tall one, meant to be seen from across a room rather than looked down into.
Product details
- Height: 24 inches
- Diya cups: 30 (12 bottom, 10 middle, 8 top)
- Weight: 1,500 g (approx. 3.3 lb)
- Material: iron with a gold polish finish
- Base: turned pedestal foot
- Top: finial with a ring
- Handmade in India
- Not dishwasher safe. Keep dry.
Why this one
- Thirty diyas on one stand. Twelve on the bottom tier, ten on the middle, eight on the top. Lighting one object gets you the effect of scattering thirty.
- Proper diya cups, not plain wells. Each cup is pressed in the classic diya shape with a pointed lip, so it takes oil and a cotton wick as readily as a tealight.
- 24 inches tall. The height is the point — the tiers separate so each ring of flame reads on its own instead of merging into one pool of light.
- 1,500 g (approx. 3.3 lb) on a weighted pedestal foot, which is what keeps a tall stand steady once thirty cups are filled.
Which one do I need
The same design is made in two heights:
- Two-layer stand — 15.75 inches, 18 diyas, 915 g. A dining table or a mandir shelf.
- Three-layer stand — 24 inches, 30 diyas, 1,500 g. A floor-level entryway or a wedding welcome table.
Where it works
- Either side of a front door for Diwali
- A wedding or reception welcome table
- A floor-level rangoli setup, standing in the centre
- A mandir corner, lit for Navratri or Karthigai Deepam
- A hallway console, where the full height has room to read
Gifting
A good gift for someone who already owns plenty of small decor, because thirty diyas on one stand is a thing most homes do not have. It suits Diwali above all, and also Navratri, Karthigai Deepam, a housewarming and a wedding. Event decorators buy these in pairs to flank an entrance — if you need several, get in touch before ordering and we will confirm stock against your date.
