Rose Rim Urli Bowls – Set of 3 Compact Gold Urlis
Rose Rim Urli Bowls – Set of 3 Compact Gold Urlis
Couldn't load pickup availability
The smallest of our flat-rim urli sets, and the one to buy when a 16-inch piece is too much for the table. A hammered gold water bowl in the middle, ringed by a collar of solid gold rose blooms — layered, closed roses rather than open cups. Three sizes, 9.5 to 12.5 inches across.
Why this one
- It fits where the others do not. At 9.5, 11 and 12.5 inches this is comfortably the most compact set of the six. It works on an apartment coffee table, a narrow console or a shelf where a 16-inch urli would overhang.
- The roses are sculpted, not stamped. Each bloom on the rim is built up in layers so it reads as a flower from any angle, not just from above.
- Densest rim of the range. Because the pieces are smaller, the roses sit tight against each other and the collar reads as a continuous wreath.
- Hand-hammered centre bowl for water and floating flower heads.
- 1.38 kg for the set of three — about 3 lb / 48 oz.
Which rim do you want?
We make six flat-rim urli sets in this shape. The bowl is much the same on all of them; what changes is the collar around it — and whether that collar holds candles.
- Lotus petal — pointed lotus-bud cups, each holds a tealight. 12–16 in across.
- Om — diya-shaped cups in ivory and gold, each holds a tealight. 11–16 in across.
- Diya — fluted lamp cups, all gold, each holds a tealight. 11–15 in across.
- Rose — this set. Solid gold rosettes, decorative only; the candle goes in the centre. 9.5–12.5 in, the most compact set.
- Sunflower — solid gold petals, decorative only. 12–16 in, the heaviest set.
- Sunflower Pink — the same petals in pink with a gold centre. 12–16 in.

Where it works
Apartments and smaller homes, where the larger sets crowd a table. Coffee tables and narrow consoles. Pooja room shelf, for flowers and a single floating diya. Place settings and side tables at an event, where you want the look repeated rather than one large centerpiece. Also good as a rose-petal or supari bowl at a wedding ceremony.
Gifting
The easiest of the six to post as a gift and the easiest for the recipient to find room for. Given at Diwali, griha pravesh, weddings and anniversaries — and the rose rim makes it the natural pick for an anniversary or Valentine gift.
These go out as gift sets often enough that we keep stock deep. If you need several — wedding favours, a Diwali order for a team, return gifts for a large function — email contact@urliutsav.com before you order. Bulk pricing is available and we will confirm quantities and timing with you first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put tealights in the roses?
No. The roses are solid sculpted blooms, not cups — there is nowhere for a candle to sit. Float a candle in the centre bowl instead. If you want a rim you can light, choose the Lotus, Om or Diya sets linked above.
How small is small, really?
The smallest piece is 9.5 inches overall with a 6 inch water bowl — about the size of a dinner plate. The largest is 12.5 inches.
Are the candles or flowers included?
No. You get the three bowls.
How heavy are they?
About 3 lb for the set. Pressed and hammered sheet iron with a gold finish, not cast brass.
Can I use it for food?
Dry items on a liner — supari, dry fruit, wrapped sweets — are fine. It is not food-safe for anything wet or oily and should not go in a dishwasher.
Do the three nest for storage?
They stack loosely rather than nesting tightly. Put a cloth between them so the finish does not rub.
How do I clean them?
Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, working into the roses with a soft brush. Do not soak them, and dry them fully after you empty the water out. Abrasive scourers and harsh cleaners will wear the gold.
Can they go outside?
For an evening on a covered patio, yes. Not for permanent outdoor use: they are iron underneath and will rust if they are rained on or left damp.
What if something arrives damaged?
Shipping is insured. Send a photo to contact@urliutsav.com and we will replace the piece or make it right.
Can I return them?
Yes, within 30 days in original condition and packaging. Return shipping is arranged and paid by the customer.
