24-Inch Mandala Wall Art – Maroon & Blue with Mirror Inlay

This one is not a mirror. It is a solid two-foot mandala panel — maroon, sky blue and gold rings worked outward to a scalloped edge, with tiny mirror pieces set into the paint throughout and a small mirrored star at the very centre. If you want the mandala without giving up a reflection-free wall, this is the one.

How it is made

Painted freehand from the centre out, then inlaid: small pieces of mirror pressed into the surface one at a time, scattered through the rings rather than laid in a grid. Under a lamp they catch individually as you move, which is the whole effect and the reason the piece needs light to work.

Where it goes

Anywhere a mirror would be wrong. Facing a bed, opposite a front door, in a room where a reflective surface is unwanted for Vastu reasons, or simply on a wall where you want pattern rather than a second window. Also good in a group with smaller pieces, which the mirrored mandalas are too dominant for.

Hanging it

Fittings are on the back. At 3 kg use screws into drywall anchors rather than a bare nail. Screws and wall anchors are not supplied.

Care

Dust with a dry, soft brush — the inlaid pieces have edges and a cloth can snag. Never spray liquid at the surface.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a mirror in the middle?
Only a small mirrored medallion, not a functional mirror. If you want a usable mirror at the centre, our 24-inch Multicolour Lippan mandala is the same size with a 10-inch mirror.

Are those real mirror pieces in the rings?
Yes — small pieces of real mirror glass, set into the paint by hand.

Why is it cheaper than the mandala mirrors?
No large mirror to buy, cut and seat. The painting and inlay are the same work.
