Two feet across, with a round mirror at the centre and ring after ring of hand-painted petals worked outward from it in blue, purple, gold, pink and white. This is the best-reviewed mirror we make — a straight 5.0 — and the thing reviewers say most often is that it is bigger and better in person than the photographs suggest. How it is painted
Freehand, from the centre outward, with no stencil. Each ring is a different motif at a different scale, and every one of them has to close evenly around the circle — the artisan holds that by eye. Where two rings meet you can see the brush change direction. That is the craft, and it is why no two discs are the same.

Where it goes
Entryways, above a console, on a landing, in a powder room. Two feet is the size that works on most walls without taking them over — large enough to be the thing you notice, small enough to sit above furniture. If you want something that carries a whole wall on its own, look at the 36-inch mandalas instead.
Hanging it
Two hooks are fitted to the back rather than one, so the disc cannot rotate out of true. At 2.9 kg use screws into drywall anchors, or into a stud if you can find one. Screws and wall anchors are not supplied.
Care
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Glass cleaner on the centre mirror only, applied to the cloth rather than sprayed, so nothing runs onto the painted rings.
