A large brass Ganesha statue in three distinct designs, from 9.5 to 11 inches tall and 2.8 to 4.2 kg. Ganesha — Ganpati, Vinayak, Vinayagar — is the remover of obstacles, installed first at housewarmings and placed at entrances. Each design is cast in solid brass and hand-engraved in India, so the choice is about which form suits your space rather than a difference in quality.
Product details
- Material: solid brass
- Finish: polished gold tone with hand-engraved detailing
- Sizes and weights as listed per design above
- Single piece — one statue in the design you select
- Handcrafted in India
Which design should I choose?
All three are solid brass with the same hand-engraved finish. They differ in posture, silhouette and footprint.
-
Lotus Blessing — seated in a calm posture with a lotus motif and the blessing mudra, backed by a rayed halo disc. The most traditional of the three and the widest at the base.
9.5"L × 6.5"W × 5.5"D · 4,225 g -
Majestic Kirtimukha — framed by a ringed halo arch carrying the Kirtimukha, the protective guardian face traditionally set above thresholds and shrine doorways. The tallest and most vertical.
11"L × 5.5"W × 4.5"D · 4,175 g -
Regal Turban — a reclining profile pose with a royal turban. The most contemporary in feel and the lightest, so it suits a narrow shelf or a modern console.
10.5"L × 6"W × 4"D · 2,840 g
If it is going at an entrance, Kirtimukha carries the strongest threshold association. If it is going in a pooja room, Lotus Blessing is the conventional form. If it is going in a living room as sculpture, Regal Turban reads most as decor.
Where it works
Home temple or pooja room. Entryway console, where Ganesha is traditionally placed. Living room shelf or mantel. Desk altar or study. Also used in yoga studios, wellness spaces and Indian restaurants.
Gifting
Ganesha marks beginnings, so this suits a housewarming or griha pravesh, a wedding, a new business, a retirement, or any milestone worth marking. It is a standard Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi gift. Because there are three designs at three price points, it also works when you are buying for someone whose taste you know but whose decor you do not.
