Pichwai is a devotional painting tradition from Nathdwara in Rajasthan, around four hundred years old, depicting Shrinathji — Krishna as a seven-year-old — and the cows of Vrindavan. These trays carry that artwork on gold-finished metal, so a style normally seen on temple textiles becomes something you actually use on a table.
