Why this one
Everything else in this collection lives on a surface, and surfaces run out. A pair of these either side of a doorway, a mirror or a mandir gives you a vertical run of light where there was nothing before, and the cut-out discs behind each cup catch the glow so the wall lights up as well. The whole set weighs 400 grams, so a single push pin takes one strand - no drilling, no anchors, nothing to patch afterwards.
Where it works
Either side of a front door, flanking a mandir or a mirror, down the wall of a stairwell, in a hallway that has no surface to put anything on. Renters can hang and remove them without leaving a mark worth mentioning.

Questions people ask
Can I use real tea lights in these?
No. Use LED or electric tealights only. This is a lightweight hanging piece against a wall, and an open flame on a swinging strand is not a risk worth taking.
How do I hang it?
Each strand hangs from a single point. Press a push pin into the wall at a slight upward angle, hook the strand over it, and check it is seated before you add the tealights. At 400 grams for the set, drywall and a push pin are enough.
Are tealights or pins included?
Neither. You supply your own LED tealights and push pins.
How do I clean it?
A soft dry cloth down each disc. This is iron under a gold polish, so keep it dry.
Will it swing or rattle?
It hangs flat against the wall and settles quickly. Away from a door that slams or a vent that blows directly on it, it stays put.
Can I hang it outside?
On a covered porch for an evening, yes. Bring it in overnight - a gold polish on iron will not survive weeks outdoors.
Do the discs come off?
The strand is linked as one piece. It is not designed to be shortened.
Where are these made?
India, by hand. Small differences between pieces in a set are normal and are how you can tell handwork from a machine-pressed import.
