24-Inch Mandala Mirror Wall Art – Red & Teal Lotus

Deep red and teal blue, with white lotus petals laid over both, around a generous 14-inch mirror. The outer edge is scalloped rather than cut flat, so the disc reads as a flower rather than a circle. Two feet across.

How it is painted

Freehand from the centre outward. The two-tone ground is the difficult part here — red and teal meeting cleanly along a curved boundary, with white petals crossing the join, all without masking tape. Get it slightly wrong and the seam shows from across the room.

Where it goes

It has the largest mirror of our two-foot mandalas at 14 inches, which makes it the most usable as an actual mirror — an entryway, a hallway, beside a front door. One reviewer chose it for a stone wall over a framed picture, and the strong red holds up against rough texture in a way a painting would not.

Hanging it

Two hooks on the back rather than one, so the disc cannot rotate out of true. At 3.22 kg use screws into drywall anchors, or a stud. Screws and wall anchors are not supplied.

Care

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Glass cleaner on the centre mirror only, applied to the cloth rather than sprayed.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mirror bigger on this one?
Yes — 14 inches against 10 on the multicolour version. If you want a mandala that also works as a functional mirror, this is the one.

Is the edge round or scalloped?
Scalloped. The petals continue past the rim rather than being cut off by it.

Will the red be too much?
It is a strong piece and it is meant to be. The teal breaks it up, which stops it going flat. Against grey, cream, stone or wood it works; against another strong colour it will fight.
