24-Inch Mandala Mirror Wall Art – Ivory & Black Geometric

Open black line work on a cream ground, with gold beading around the rim and a 14-inch mirror at the centre. Where our other monochrome mandala is dense and dark, this one is mostly pale — a geometric star pattern drawn in fine black over ivory, with plenty of ground showing through.

How it is painted

Freehand from the centre out. Geometry is the hard discipline here: the star points have to meet exactly, and on a pale ground there is nowhere for a wobble to hide. The gold beads around the rim are applied individually after the line work is dry.

Where it goes

It is the most neutral mandala we make and the easiest to place — it will sit in a room that has nothing else Indian in it without announcing itself. Photographed on a deep teal wall and on warm white; the pale ground means it works best where there is some colour behind it.

Hanging it

Two hooks on the back rather than one, so the disc cannot rotate out of true. At 3.22 kg use screws into drywall anchors, or a stud. Screws and wall anchors are not supplied.

Care

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Glass cleaner on the centre mirror only, applied to the cloth rather than sprayed — a cream ground shows marks.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from your other black and white mandala?
This is the pale one: ivory ground, open black geometry, gold beading, 14-inch mirror. The Monochrome Feather is black-dominant, much denser, with a 10-inch mirror. Same two colours, opposite effect.

Is the centre a real mirror?
Yes — real glass, 14 inches across.

Will it look plain?
Restrained rather than plain. Up close the line work is intricate; from a distance it reads as a quiet graphic shape. That is the point of it.
