8-Inches Brass Ashtalakshmi Kalash

An Ashtalakshmi Kalash is a brass ritual pot engraved with the eight forms of Lakshmi — the goddess of wealth in her eight aspects, from Dhana Lakshmi to Santana Lakshmi. It holds water, milk, rice or Gangajal on the altar, and is the vessel placed at the centre of a Kalash Sthapana. This one stands 8 inches, in pure brass, hand-engraved.

Care

Brass darkens naturally over time. Clean with lemon and salt or a standard brass polish before festivals to bring back the shine, or leave it to develop an antique patina. Dry thoroughly after use with water or milk.
