A brass Krishna statue, 24 inches tall, standing in tribhanga — the three-bend posture, weight on one leg with the other crossed behind — and playing the bansuri. This is Krishna as Venugopal, the flute player, the form most often kept in homes and the one associated with Vrindavan. He stands on a layered lotus pedestal set on an octagonal foot, backed by an engraved lotus-mandala halo disc.
